Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.3, getting a general score of 68.7 against 65.9. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the previous 4.2.2 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch design is somewhat thinner and a little lighter than LG G Pad 8.3, even when both of them were released only a couple of months apart.
The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a greater screen density, a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a bit bigger screen. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has much more storage capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a bit superior CPU than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores and they are also slower, it also counts with an extra GPU. LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.
The LG G Pad 8.3 captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a lot better video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is not only the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also cheaper than the other tablet.
