The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 overall score. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a newer 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's construction is way newer, thinner and incredibly lighter than the Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a GPU.
