The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 68.7 score against 58.8. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has newer 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, providing you a couple additional features. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch body is newer, noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a little lower screen pixels density, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a bit bigger display.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a way more MP back facing camera.
