Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab's 58.6 score. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's body is much newer, somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a newer 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, giving some additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab, because it has a better resolution of 800 x 1280, a just a little better pixel number in each inch in the screen and a bit bigger screen. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a much better memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab. They have the same 32 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has 1 GB more RAM, an extra graphics processing unit and a larger number of cores. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a back camera with a way better resolution and a much higher 1280x720 video quality.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a 4450mAh battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
