Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a global score of 76.7, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's overall score of 68.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 body is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner, but also way heavier than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has 13 version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lot smaller display, a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and way less pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a much more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an extra GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way better 13 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has an 8000mAh battery size instead of 4450mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, resigning a couple specifications.
