Comparison review
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a little bit better than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a score of 62.3 against 57.5. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has the newer 4.4 version while Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, so it provides you lots of additional features and a performance increase. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's construction is just a bit heavier but much thinner than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a more vivid display than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a quite larger screen, a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a lot more pixels per inch in the display. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a really superior performance than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a higher number of faster cores, a higher amount of RAM memory and an additional GPU.
GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has slightly more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has only 8 GB internal memory capacity. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 takes a bit better photographs and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a back facing camera with much more MP.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 1% greater battery size.
Although Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go some features and specifications.
