The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an overall score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's overall score of 57.5. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has 4.0 version and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is older and a lot heavier than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, it's construction is still just a little thinner.
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixel quantity in each inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has just a bit more storage for applications and games than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an extra GPU. The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both of them have a 3 megapixels back-facing camera.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a much better battery life than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 75 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
