Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a global score of 61.4 against 57.5. Both of these tablets work with the same Android 4.1 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is an older and heavier portable tablet than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but Samsung managed to make it just a little bit thinner anyway.

The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both have the same number of cores and 1 GB of RAM memory. The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024, it also counts with a just a little better count of pixels per screen inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a much better camera than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both of them have a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a way better battery duration than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), otherwise you can save some money and get the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go some features and specifications.
