The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, getting a score of 58.8 against 57.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a thinner but a lot heavier tablet device than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the previous 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has Android 4.2 version.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. They have a Dual-Core processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE have similar screens, and although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a better resolution of 800 x 1280 and a bigger display, they both have the same screen pixel density.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has a lot more MP camera and a lot better video quality. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has a little bit better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 32 GB.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has 6100mAh of battery capacity.
