HTC Flyer has a score of 58.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's 58.5 global score. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but HTC Flyer has the older 3.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4 version. Even being the best device we are comparing here, HTC Flyer is a way heavier and thicker device than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V.
The HTC Flyer counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the HTC Flyer also has an additional GPU. The Galaxy Tab 3 V features a bit more vivid display than HTC Flyer. They have the same exact 1024 x 600 resolution, the same count of pixels in each inch in the display and a same size screen.
HTC Flyer has a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the HTC Flyer also has 24 GB more internal storage capacity. HTC Flyer features a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3600mAh.
HTC Flyer features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a much better video resolution.
Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 3 V. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy HTC Flyer, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 3 V, giving up a couple specs and features.
