Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an overall score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 V's 58.5 general score. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a incredibly heavier tablet than Galaxy Tab 3 V, but both of them are equally thin. These tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has older 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an additional graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 3 V features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display and a lot lower 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit better amount of pixels in each display inch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has slightly more storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V captures a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, although it has a lot worse resolution back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 3 V. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 3 V, giving up a couple features and specs.
