The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, getting a general score of 61.4 against 58.5. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the previous 4.1 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a incredibly heavier portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, but they are 0.38inches thick.

The Galaxy Tab 3 V counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a really smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 1024 x 600, it also counts with a quite better count of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab 3 V has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), although it has a lower number of cores , they both have a 1 GB RAM memory.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has just a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a 94% greater battery size.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) takes slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a lot higher video resolution and a lot more MP back facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 3 V. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 3 V, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
