Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, getting a 68.3 score against 58.5. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4, so it provides you some nice extra features. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s design is heavier but just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 3 V features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it has a lot worse resolution of 1024 x 600px, a quite smaller screen and a just a little lower pixel amount in each inch in the display.
