Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, getting a 68.3 score against 58.5. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4, so it provides you some nice extra features. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s design is heavier but just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM.
