Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has an overall score of 58.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's 58.5 score. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is a somewhat heavier and thicker portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a Single-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab. Both of them have a same size screen, the same resolution of 1024 x 600 and the same amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab counts with a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size.
The Galaxy Tab captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have the same 720x480 video quality, the Galaxy Tab also has faster video frame rates and a way better resolution camera in the back.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it costs a bit more than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 3 V. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 3 V, resigning some specs and features.
