IPad 4 has a score of 70.8, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's global score of 67.8. The iPad 4 is a somewhat thicker and a lot heavier device than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. IPad 4 comes with iOS 7.x operating system, while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system. Apple iPad 4 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, although it has a slower graphics processor, lesser cores (but faster) and 512 MB less RAM.
IPad 4 counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot greater pixel number per screen inch. The iPad 4 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a very superior battery life than Apple iPad 4. Apple iPad 4 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you want to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
