IPad mini 3 has an overall score of 77.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's overall score of 67.8. IPad mini 3's design is just a bit thinner and much lighter than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, although both were released only a couple months apart. IPad mini 3 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
Apple iPad mini 3 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a lot more pixels per inch of display. IPad mini 3 features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The iPad mini 3 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has 2 less processing cores and 512 MB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a better graphics processing unit running at 600 MHz and a 64 bits CPU.
