The Google Nexus 10 has a global score of 68.1, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's 67.8 global score. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 10 has 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version, providing the user some additional features. Even being the best tablet in this comparison review, the Google Nexus 10 construction is older, somewhat heavier and thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a little bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 10, because although it has 512 MB less RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores (although they are slower) and an additional GPU. The Google Nexus 10 features a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a same size display, the Google Nexus 10 also has a lot better display density and a lot better 1600 x 2560 resolution.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features just a bit more storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 10, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB. The Google Nexus 10 counts with longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a 32 percent more battery size.
The Google Nexus 10 shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a back facing camera with a way better resolution and a way higher (Full HD) video quality.
Although Google Nexus 10 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
