Huawei MediaPad X2 has an overall score of 72.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's 67.8 global score. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad X2 has the newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides you a couple additional features and increased performance. Huawei MediaPad X2 is a newer tablet device, and it's also a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU, 4 more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1920 x 1200 resolution and a much higher pixels density.
Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a camera in the back with lot more MP and a way higher (Full HD) video quality. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a much longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has a 6800mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad X2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go some features and specifications.
