Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is a bit better than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's 63.1 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 construction is notably older, just a little thicker and a lot heavier than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 512 MB more RAM memory. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a much better display pixel density.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4850mAh.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with a much better 8 mega-pixels resolution and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
