Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is much better than LG G Pad 8.0, having a 67.8 score against 58.6. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the previous 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a heavier but extremely thinner tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has a CPU that is just as good as the CPU in Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although the LG G Pad 8.0 has 512 MB less RAM memory, they both have 4 processing cores and a 450 MHz graphics processing unit. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen.
The LG G Pad 8.0's storage capacity to install applications and games is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's one, they have equal internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with just a bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 3 megapixels resolution and a much worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a superior battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs more than the LG G Pad 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
