Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 score. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's design is newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's processing unit is very similar to the processor in Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a worse GPU running at 400 MHz, a smaller amount of RAM memory and less cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both of them have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, a same size screen and the same screen pixel density.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both of them have a 3 mega pixels resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with much more storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has 16 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also a bargain compared to the other devices.
