Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a score of 75.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's global score of 67.8. These tablets include the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so both of them should offer very similar operating system features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a just a little bit thinner and lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, even though both were released with only 3 months difference.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have 4 cpu cores and a 450 MHz graphics processor, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has more RAM. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a camera with way more mega-pixels and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
