Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S8 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, having a global score of 76.7 against 67.8. Galaxy Tab S8 is a much newer and somewhat thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, although it is also a bit heavier. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S8 has the previous 13 version and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a lot better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a way worse display density, a bit smaller screen and a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution.
Galaxy Tab S8 features a way bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy Tab S8 takes a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has an 8000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go some specifications.
