Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is much better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet, having a 67.2 score against 57. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the older 4.4.2 version while Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is an extremely older and heavier device than the Alcatel A30 Tablet, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a better looking display than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has a just a little worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a larger screen and a bit higher 800 x 1280 resolution. Alcatel A30 Tablet has just a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a little better processing power than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a much better battery performance than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has a 70 percent larger battery size.
Alcatel A30 Tablet takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs a bit more than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
