Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a very solid tablet device released in 2014, including a huge 10.1 inches multi touch screen, a high performance Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1.2 GHz, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

Samsung decided to power this tablet using a Qualcomm Snapdragon system chip, including an exceptional Quad-Core processing unit running at 1.2 GHz and a great 1,5 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering often eats lots of processing time, so this tablet counts with an additional Adreno 305 GPU speeding at 450 MHz to help the CPU with those tasks. The Tab 4 10.1 counts with an interesting 16 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to store a couple hundred apps without any problem.

This tablet has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.31 inches. The Tab 4 10.1 is only 9.58 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 10.1" display. Samsung did a very nice job making the Tab 4 10.1 weight only 17.18 oz.

This tablet features two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. It is capable of shooting videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. In addition, the camera features geo tagging.

Samsung equipped this tablet with a good 10.1-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , making everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This device uses a 6800 mAh big Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it.

This tablet offers Wi-Fi capability (and it can share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed connectivity and also HSPA+ connection type, which is a bit slower 4G technology and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Tab 4 10.1 works with a Micro SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This tablet also features a handful of interesting features like Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This tablet may not be so convinient considering it is sold for $ 130, while some similar tablets cost less than that. The Tab 4 10.1 is the correct option no matter if you will use this tablet to play tons of games, you love taking pictures, want a portable tablet to mainly use social networks and internet browsing or will use this tablet for work.
