Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a lot better than the LG Optimus Pad, with a score of 67.2 against 50.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a way lighter and thinner tablet than the LG Optimus Pad. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version while LG Optimus Pad has Android 3.0 version.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a better performing processor than LG Optimus Pad, because it has a graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a little bit better looking screen than LG Optimus Pad, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bigger display and a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution.

The LG Optimus Pad takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a way more MP back-facing camera and a lot better (Full HD) video resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a little bit better storage capacity to install games and applications than LG Optimus Pad, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than LG Optimus Pad.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs a little more than LG Optimus Pad, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
