Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a general score of 65.6, which is slightly better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 general score. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a lighter tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but they have the same thickness.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has 512 MB more RAM and an extra graphics processing unit. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots way better pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much longer battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, else you can save some money and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go a couple features and specs.
