Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is much better than the Google Nexus 7, having a global score of 65.6 against 59.3. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's body is newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Google Nexus 7. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.
Google Nexus 7 has a display that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 one, both have a display with the same size, the same resolution of 800 x 1280 and the same pixel density. Google Nexus 7 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has 512 MB less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a GPU.
Google Nexus 7 has a bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 captures greater pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. Google Nexus 7 features a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a lot more expensive than the Google Nexus 7, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
