The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a global score of 65.6, which is just a bit better than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's 63.1 general score. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has 4.4.2 version and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has Android 7.1 Nougat version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a noticeably older and somewhat thicker tablet than the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, but Samsung managed to make it a little lighter anyway.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a little more vivid display than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, although it has a bit worse display pixels density, a quite smaller display and a way worse 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a superior processor than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a greater number of faster cores and 512 MB more RAM memory.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video quality and a way better resolution back facing camera.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has improved battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 21% larger battery capacity.
