The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an overall score of 65.6, which is better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 score. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than LG G Pad 8.0. Both devices we are comparing here use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an older 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a bit sharper display than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a little bit greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has 16 GB internal storage. LG G Pad 8.0 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an additional GPU.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots better pictures and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a way worse 1280x720 video definition and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution. LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 5% larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
