Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, getting a score of 75.8 against 65.6. These devices include the same Android 4.4.2 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s design is way heavier but somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and both of them were released only 7 months apart.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has an additional graphics co-processor and more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has more pixels per screen inch, a lot bigger screen and a way higher 1600 x 2560px resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
