Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's score of 65.6. Even though Galaxy Note 8.0 is older and somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, it's construction is still thinner. Both of these tablets come with the same Android 4.4.2 operating system, so both should offer very similar operating system features.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more RAM memory and an additional GPU. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a quite better pixel number per display inch.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a worse (HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.
