Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, getting a 65.6 score against 61.7. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's construction is newer, way lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's processing unit is just as good as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 one, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an inferior number of 1200 megahertz cores and 512 MB lesser RAM, it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a higher resolution of 1280 x 800px and a better count of pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's storage to store more apps and games is very similar to Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's one, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB and the same 8 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although it has a worse 1280x720 video definition and a worse resolution back facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a battery performance that's very similar to Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's battery life.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
