Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a overall score of 65.6 against 57.6. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the older 4.4.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a notably older and thicker portable tablet than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but Samsung was able to make it lighter anyway.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
