Comparison review
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, with a general score of 70.8 against 66.2. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS, but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more recent 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2, giving some extra features. Although the Google Nexus 7 (2013) and the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 were released only 8 months apart, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) design is a little bit lighter but also a bit thicker than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 400 megahertz, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater screen pixels density and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a way better 1920x1080 video definition. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB.

So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 7 (2013), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, letting go a couple features and specs.
