The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch has a general score of 68.1, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 overall score. Even though Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch is noticeably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, it's a little bit thinner and also newer. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2, so it gives you a couple additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a bit better display than Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch, although it has a really smaller display, a just a little worse pixels amount in each inch of screen and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px. Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB and 48 GB more internal storage.
Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and more RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has 6660mAh of battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch captures much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Although Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, resigning some features and specs.
