Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is better than LG G Pad F 8.0, having a 66.2 score against 58.2. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is an older device than LG G Pad F 8.0, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner and a bit lighter. These tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has older 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad F 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a graphics processor and 512 MB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a better looking screen than LG G Pad F 8.0. Both of them have exactly the same 1280 x 800px resolution, a screen with the same size and the same pixel density.

LG G Pad F 8.0 counts with slightly more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad F 8.0 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a bit better camera than LG G Pad F 8.0, although it has a way worse video quality and a much worse resolution back facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad F 8.0, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity.
