LG G Pad II 10.1 has an overall score of 67.4, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 overall score. The LG G Pad II 10.1 body has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, but it's much heavier. Both tablets in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad II 10.1 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features just a bit better looking display than LG G Pad II 10.1, although it has a way smaller display, a little bit worse number of pixels per display inch and a much lower 1280 x 800 resolution. LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also counts with more RAM.

LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G Pad II 10.1 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video resolution and a lot more megapixels back camera.
