The Microsoft Surface Go is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, getting a 66.5 score against 66.2. The Microsoft Surface Go comes with Windows 10 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system. Although Microsoft Surface Go is way newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, it's heavier and just a little bit thicker.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a just a little worse display pixels density, a way lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a much smaller screen. The Microsoft Surface Go has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage.

The Microsoft Surface Go features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Go, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, giving up some specifications.
