Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro, getting a global score of 66.2 against 63.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a newer tablet, and it is also thinner and much lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with more RAM and a faster 650 megahertz graphics processor. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a lot smaller screen, a lot worse 1280 x 800 resolution and a just a bit lower amount of pixels per display inch.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has better video frame rates and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a much better memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro.
