Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66.2, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2's score of 65.1. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's construction is a lot thinner and a lot lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, even though both were released with only 6 months difference.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a way smaller screen, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a little bit worse pixel count in each inch in the display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both of them have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
