Microsoft Surface Pro 4's construction is newer than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's, but it is noticeably heavier and a bit thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a really superior hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and 4 more cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much higher resolution of 1824 x 2736px, a better amount of pixels per display inch and a really larger screen.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
