Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a global score of 66.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 global score. Even though the Galaxy Note 10.1 is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, it must be noted that it is also extremely older, much heavier and somewhat thicker. Both tablets in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a much better looking display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a higher pixels quantity per inch in the display. Galaxy Note 10.1 features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with an additional GPU. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 57% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a camera with much less mega-pixels resolution and a lower 1280x720 video definition.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Note 10.1, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, resigning a couple specs and features.
