The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66.2, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s score of 65. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a newer tablet, and it's also a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the processing unit in Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), less RAM memory and a slower graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a greater pixel density.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 57 percent bigger battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both have the same (HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution camera.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
