Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, with a 66.2 score against 65.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a a lot lighter tablet device than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but both are equally thin. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2 version, so it gives you lots of additional features.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a GPU, more processing cores (although slower) and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has 16 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a camera that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 one, they have a back facing camera with a 3 mega-pixels resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video definition.
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 53% greater battery size.
