Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, with a general score of 67 against 66.2. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has an older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's construction is thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a processing unit that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 one, both of them have a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, 4 cores and the same RAM memory amount. Galaxy Tab Active has a screen that's just as good as the screen in Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, both have the same pixel density, a display of the same size and an equal 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB and the same 16 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 have incredibly similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a higher 3.1 megapixels resolution camera, they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution.
