Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an overall score of 66.2, which is much better than the Sony Tablet S's general score of 57.5. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 design is noticeably newer, incredibly thinner and incredibly lighter than Sony Tablet S. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, counting with a lot of extra features and performance improvements.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a brighter display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a quite greater screen pixels density. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a little faster processor than Sony Tablet S, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster), an additional graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM.

Sony Tablet S counts with a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Tablet S features just a little better battery life than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

The Sony Tablet S captures a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Tablet S also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it a great choice.
