Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66, which is a little bit better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's score of 65.5. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a newer tablet, and it is also a lot lighter and thinner than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a weaker graphics co-processor running at 450 megahertz, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores and more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a better pixel density.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
