Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is better than the Sony Tablet P, having a general score of 66 against 55.7. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's construction is newer, noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter than the Sony Tablet P. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a little bit better looking display than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a just a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a way larger display and a much higher 1280 x 800 resolution. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with just a little better processing power than Sony Tablet P, because it has a higher number of cores , a greater amount of RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 captures slightly better videos and photos than Sony Tablet P, although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels and a lower video resolution. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Tablet P, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB and 12 GB more internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a much longer battery duration than Sony Tablet P, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also cheaper than the other tablet.
