The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a global score of 58.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's global score of 53.3. Galaxy Tab 8.9's body is somewhat heavier but way thinner than the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and both of them were released only 2 months apart. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the newer 3.0 version while Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has Android 2.2 version, giving you some nice extra features and performance enhancements.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 features just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and although they both have the same quantity of pixels per inch in the display, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 costs more money than the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
